Join a forestry extension educator for a relaxed, guided walk through a scenic state park as you explore the diversity of common forest plants and learn to recognize their key identifying features. Designed for beginners and those looking to refresh their skills, this engaging experience offers time to ask questions, observe fine details, and deepen your connection to the forest. The walk will cover up to 0.5 miles on gentle paths, with restrooms available nearby; participants are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes. This hike will be offered at both 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Registration is appreciated but not required! Register at: Plants in the Park and select Gardners as the location.
