PFBC's Women's Fly Fishing Course

Join PA Fish and Boat Commission, alongside DCNR Bald Eagle State Park Educators and local Fishing Skills Instructors, for a FREE Women’s Fly-Fishing course on July 11, 2026! This class will be from 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM. Topics covered include basics on fly fishing gear, knots, flies, casting, and practice fly fishing at Foster Joseph Sayers Lake! All fishing equipment and instruction are provided for FREE. Make a weekend of it! Invite your female friends, family members, or neighbor on a camping trip/Nature Inn stay at Bald Eagle State Park--you could visit the PSU Cremery, downtown State College, enjoy the park, and explore the surrounding area after spending Saturday morning learning how to fly fish (OR brushing up on your fly-fishing skills). Pre-registration is required. Registration will close by 4p.m. 6/5/26 OR when the class registration is full.
