Monuments on the Gettysburg Battlefield

With 200,000 soldiers engaged over three days in 1863, it is easy to be overwhelmed by all of the monuments to states, corps, divisions, brigades, companies, and individuals. Each monument has its own story, but this presenation will provide an interpretive scaffolding to some of the most important, unique, and amusing ones. Perhaps this will inspire you to get out of your car and take a closer look at locations where men gave their last full measure of devotion to their cause.
