Little Feet and Nature Connections, McCormick's Creek State Park

Title: Little Feet and Nature Connections Descriptions: Hikes and activities are intended for families to build a relationship with nature and encourage environmental awareness from birth. Parents/caregivers will learn new skills to encourage nature learning at home. While these programs are geared for parents/caregivers with newborns to 3-year-olds, your whole flock is welcome with their siblings. Hikes are either stroller friendly or require a baby carrier. Please register by emailing Jfiler@dnr.IN.gov to participate. Sept. 17 Location: Deer Run Shelter 10-11 a.m. Carrier Babes: Habitat March. On this 1.2 mile hike, we will learn about the microhabitats in Indiana’s forests.
