S'mores and Smokey Bear Celebration, Indiana Dunes State Park

Celebrate National S’mores Day AND Smokey Bear’s Birthday with the Indiana Dunes State Park! There will be a whole s’moregasboard of fun that will include a trivia game, marshmallow toss and a chance to sample from a few s’more variations thanks to the Friends of the Indiana Dunes. This event takes place at the campfire ring at the Nature Center. All our programs are free (unless otherwise noted). They are open to the public after paying the park entrance fee. All our Interpretive programs are listed in Central Time. The Nature Center's Current Hours: Open Daily 9:00 – 4:00 CST *Note that during peak visitation times, entry into our park might be delayed. Parking lots around the Nature Center can fill quickly. Please plan accordingly.*
